Julien Demers-Arsenault is a French-Canadian commercial and music video director.
He first started his career as an animator and VFX artist before he changed tack to directing.

In 2008, he directed the animation sequences in Dédé à travers les brumes (aka Dede through the mists) for which he received excellent reviews and caught the attention of the industry. Nowadays, he does his commercial work with Jet Films and his music videos with Voyous Films, both Montreal based production companies.

He is managed by Underground Management and represented by United Talent Agency in Los Angeles where he is looking to make his feature film debut.

Julien is noted for his visual style and his use of animation and visual effects. His work often has a dark and nightmarish quality to it, yet it is also at time colorful, innocent and naive.
